Sunbelt Modular

Quality Modular Building Manufacturer for over 30 years!

Sunbelt History

On April 26, 2006 Bradford Equities Management, L.L.C. and HSBC Private Equity (now Graycliff Partners) jointly acquired Amtex Holdings LP in conjunction with management. The successor entity was named Sunbelt Modular, Inc (“Sunbelt”), a Delaware corporation.

In 2007, Sunbelt acquired its cross-town rival, Indicom Building Systems and production capabilities were immediately improved by eliminating a third party frame manufacturer through utilization of Amtex’s frame shop to build its frames. Approximately one year later, in the spring of 2008, Sunbelt acquired Phoenix Modular, Inc. (“PMI”) and MR Steel from Ron Procunier and management.

In 2014, Sunbelt acquired Ameri-Fab, Inc. a specialty steel fabrication company specializing in the manufacturing of code-compliant ramps, landing, stairs and step units for modular commercial and residential clients.

The acquisition of Ameri-Fab will greatly benefit our existing dealer network by allowing us to leverage and expand our existing resources at Amtex, Indicom, Phoenix Modular, and MR Steel. The combination of all five companies allows Sunbelt to serve our customers across a larger geographical footprint.
